Normally Bob would just get ignored but the fact that he became the newly appointed head of the powerplant.” We need to invest in solar or wind power instead.” Bob’s face was strong and eyes narrowed when he said this, determined and strong-willed like nothing else mattered in that moment.” If you want the next two generations of people to have a planet to grow up on we need to shut it down now.” So in that moment the plant got shut down for ever.

It is the year 3000, a time when humanity has fallen and the only people left are the weak and poor that could not afford to move to mars. The mercury in the dead of winter where Antarctica was before it melted a hot 47.2, and in the heat of summer you can boil water just by letting it sit on the ground. Most of the species on earth are extinct and  scientists were overwhelmed with trying to keep the earth green and not black, so they moved 99% of the population of Earth to Mars. This is the future of our planet.

It was nine-thirty-one just after I started my security shift and I was prepared for another long and boring night. I went to the breakroom which is locked but luckily I have keys to everything so that wasn’t a issue but when I went to put my key in the lock there was no door, it had jut disappeared from its usual spot I thought I must have taken a wrong turn, so I turned around to walk away then poof! It reappeared just like that, then the most astonishing thing happened it came under my feet and swallowed me!

I packed up all my things and moved to a little town north of Roxby Downs called Coober Pedy, The place with the best quality of opal in the world in the hope of striking it rich. I will admit there were doubters but I’ll prove them wrong. I met with a explosives dealer in the business end of town. “So you thinking of getting into the opal business, if I could give you one piece of advice it would be don’t do it.” ” I’ll prove you wrong my good sir you just wait I’ll be making news paper headlines.”

My friends and I were at a farm. Said farm had multiple caves, but to access said cave you have to crawl through a tunnel that was no bigger than the space it took to commando crawl. It was late in the day, and my friends and I decided to go crawl in the caves. Going down was easy enough, but on the way up well… Let’s just say it was TERRIFYING! the dirt was crumbling away from our feet, and it was getting cold We were getting seriously wondering if we would make it out with our lives intact…

It started like any other trip, we left. We then went north (duh its in the title) to Ayers Rock then came down a bit to Mt Dare where we met the rest of the party. We proceeded to cross the Simpson desert in my dads white Ute ( the most uncomfortable drive of my life) until we got to Birdsville (at the end of the Simpson desert) then after that we headed south in a hurry because I had a SAPSASA trial in two days. If I had the opportunity to do it again next time I will go in a more comfortable Ute.

I was ten years old, and my family bought a pig. We called him roast because we intended to eat him for dinner on Christmas eve. We fed him the scraps of dinner and some grain. He grew to weigh more than sixty kilo’s and stood almost one-meter tall. But one day he started exhibiting some strange behaviors, like jumping up and down and running around in circles. After two weeks of this, something remarkable happened he grew wings and started to hover above the ground for a couple of seconds at a time. I didn’t realise they could fly.

The year is 2350 and man kind is in the grip of a zombie apocalypse that all started when scientists accidentally brought a rotting corpse back to life, resulting in it bighting them and so on. Deep underground in a bunker, the US president and his hundreds of army personnel were sitting around eating cold baked beans from the can when all of a sudden,there was a flash of light, then, darkness. The zombies had dug there own entrance into the bunker but in doing so they disconected the power. The president who was a big baby died from the shock.

Where the land meets the sea, a boy stared wistfully over the ocean wishing for someone to  rescue him. Young James Qwerty was sailing from the Americas back to England with thirty-one crates of native flora including fungi like mushrooms and tree seeds from oak and maple, when his ship collided with some rocks of the coast of a strange island. The only things that remained were himself and a single emergency ore. Luckily for him the island was abundant in fruits like mangoes and bananas. Days later a ship sailed past and rescued him. his new rule don’t sail.
